Child Safety Standards
Last updated: 28 September 2026
Zola Live has zero tolerance for child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE), including child sexual abuse material (CSAM), grooming, sextortion and any sexualisation of minors. These standards apply to every part of the Service — profiles, calls, live streams, chats, images, voice notes and comments — and to every user, host and agency.
1. Adults-only platform
- Every account must confirm the user is 18 or older. Date of birth is collected and under-18 accounts are refused.
- Hosts undergo government-ID and selfie verification before they can go live or receive calls.
- Accounts reasonably believed to belong to a minor are suspended immediately.
2. What is prohibited
- Creating, uploading, sharing, requesting or linking to CSAM in any form, including drawn, AI-generated or "fictional" material.
- Grooming: contacting or befriending a minor with the intent of sexual abuse or exploitation.
- Sextortion, trafficking, or any content that sexualises minors.
- Showing a minor on a call or live stream in any context.
3. How we prevent and detect
- Mandatory age gate and host identity verification.
- Human moderation of reported live streams, profiles and media; automated filters on text in comments.
- In-app Report on every profile, call, live stream and chat, with a dedicated "minor safety" reason reviewed with top priority.
- Moderators are trained on CSAE indicators and escalation procedures.
4. How we respond
- Offending content is removed and the account permanently banned, including linked devices and payout methods.
- We report apparent CSAM and child exploitation to the relevant authorities, including the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) CyberTipline and Indian law enforcement through the National Cyber Crime Reporting Portal (cybercrime.gov.in), and preserve evidence as required by law (including Section 19 of the POCSO Act, 2012).
- We cooperate fully with law-enforcement investigations.
5. How to report
- In the app: tap Report on the profile, call, stream or chat and choose the minor-safety reason.
- By email: support@zolalive.app (subject "Child Safety"). Please do not attach illegal material — describe it and include the user ID.
- In India you can also report directly at cybercrime.gov.in or call 1930. In an emergency, call 112.
6. Child safety point of contact
Our designated child-safety contact is [Child Safety Officer Name], reachable at [childsafety@yourdomain]. This person is able to speak to our CSAM prevention practices and compliance.
